WILLIAM (BILL) RICHARD MILLAR On Friday, May 17, 2013; following a lengthy illness, Bill passed away peacefully at the Golden Links Lodge at the age of 77 years. Remaining to forever cherish Bill's memory are his wife Ronda; sons, Bryan (Suzanne) and Larry (Julie); five grandchildren, Zoey, Arin, Darrah, Ava and Ramsey; brothers, Ian (Donna), Jim and Terry; sister, June (Dave) Thomson. He was predeceased by his parents, Richard and Elsie. Bill worked for CIBC for 35 years in Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Ontario and Portland, OR, with the majority of time in various branches in Winnipeg. Following his retirement in 1993, Bill and Ronda spent 10 wonderful winters in Texas, Arizona and Vancouver Island. The family would like to thank the staff of Golden Links Lodge for their compassionate and exceptional care over the last four years of Bill's life. In compliance with Bill's wishes, there will be no Funeral Service. He will be laid to rest at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Rainy River, ON at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in Bill's memory may be made to Golden Links Lodge, 2280 St. Mary's Road, Winnipeg, MB R2N 3Z6.
