I knew Mark since I was 14. I introduced Jackie to Mark at the terminal cause Mark saw Jackie and of course being the awesome wing woman that I am started talking to her and became friends, then I introduced them to each other!!! I remember this like it was yesterday....and going to watch Mark Practice and play football at Bedford Road. Mark would always come visit me. My mom liked him so much and was always happy to see him when he'd come knocking on my balcony! We were such great friends and had many many adventures. Mark had such a funny personality!! we were always laughing. A tear comes to my eye when I think of him now, It's so hard when things like this happen, one thing I know is I will see him again someday. My Love Forever. You've always had a place in my heart. xoxo :) - Posted by: Tanya Michael (Best friends back in the day!) on: Apr 01, 2015

We met when we were 15 and we had a son on his 17th birthday. even after we had separated we remained good friends for a long time and tried to keep in touch, I wanted him involved in his son's life as much as possible. as a youngster he played Hockey for a number of years until he was 16, he was on the Bedford Road Collegiate Football team in High school. He was always in good spirits and had a smile and knew how to make you smile when you were down. he had a contagious laugh and personality and was always a pleasure to be around. I feel that Everyone who met him and got to know him would grow to love and be great friends, he was just that kind of Guy. He was an awesome friend and I will miss him dearly, not a day goes by that he isn't on my mind <3 - Posted by: Jackie Merasty-Block (Mother of hi oldest Child, dear friend) on: Jul 18, 2013

Mark was so very special 2 me n our son Tyrese. We were split up when he passed but it had only been 1 yr apart. We broke up April 28th 2012 but always remained friends n in contact daily. We still love each other very much so, an think the world of each other. He always made me smile when I was havin a not so good day. The day b4 he passed away he gave me the biggest precious hug & told me i so very proud of u babe 4 doin so very well in life now told me I'm a fighter who doesn't give up on trying 2 live the good life instead of an addicted life. So with that said I'm goin 2 live my life the way Mark wanted me n r son 2, an that means 2 live it 2 the fullest in peace n harmony with r creator helpin us. Without Mark in my life 4 these past 18 yrs I would not b the strong willed woman i am. We luv u so much mark n daddy n miss u very very very much so. - Posted by: Rebecca Bourassa (A BEST Friend of 18 yrs n a common law wife for 8 lovingyrs) on: Jun 01, 2013
