JOHN MICHAEL (MIKE) MASTERS
Date of Passing: Apr 30, 2013
Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJOHN MICHAEL (MIKE) MASTERS It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Mike Masters, 63, on April 30, 2013 in Petersfield, England. Loving father to Leigh, John (Tammy) and Meggan (Tony). Proud grandfather to Ethan and step-grandfather to Tyler. Brother to Richard (Leslie) and Jane (David). He will be fondly remembered and missed by many family members and the dear friends he has made along his journey. Prior to retirement as an aeronautical engineer, Mike was able to fulfill his lifelong passion for planes. When not at work, he could be found flying, at an airshow, or working on model planes. He was an avid traveller and saw much of the world, but his heart was always on the "farm" in Manitoba. His contagious smile, laughter, big hugs, and sense of humor, will be greatly missed by many. While cremation and a small service were held in England, a celebration of life will follow in Mike's hometown of Petersfield, MB this coming summer (details to follow). If desired, donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.

Have known this wonderful man since we were both working at Gulfstream Aerospace in Long Beach, CA (1988) and have kept up a friendship for all these years of Mike's traveling around the world. Will miss his phone calls from England and Canada. God speed Michael. - Posted by: Judy McCormick (Very dear friend) on: Jun 01, 2013

So many memories but my favourite are the ones of our father laughing. He loved to laugh at movies: Airplane, Monty Python and many others. He loved to tell jokes (okay not always so funny) or be told jokes. His laugh could be heard from all around and it will be greatly missed. Love you dad! - Posted by: Leigh Masters (Daughter) on: Jun 01, 2013
