Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryNATASHA VERON JEFFREY Suddenly on May 17, 2013. Tasha - beloved daughter, sister, auntie and friend, was taken from us. Tasha was born December 5, 1975 in Tempe, St. George's, Grenada to Valerie and Jerome. In her teens she immigrated to Canada, married Michael, and soon after welcomed her brother John Peter into their home. She was a proud Canadian, becoming a citizen in 2006. Tasha was a hard worker and also a lifelong learner - always taking college courses to enrich her life and careers. Her natural affinity for connecting with people would finally lead her to become a home support worker with Simaril Inc. where her caring personality was put to good use. She had a natural flair for fashion, especially shoes, and was in the process of sharing that flair, her Grenadian culture, and all things feminine, with her niece Talia (little Tasha). Tasha is survived by her brother John Peter Dominique and his wife Joan, nieces Talia and Janelle, nephews Tyson and Adrian and extended family in Canada, her father Jerome and many siblings, nieces and nephews in Grenada. She was predeceased by her mother Valerie and her ex-husband Michael. A celebration of Tasha's life will be held Wednesday, June 5 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Voyage Funeral Home, 220 Hespeler @ Henderson Hwy. Her final resting place will be in Grenada.

All the memories that we shared are as vivid as ever. All the times that we shared were truly blessed. I still think about you often. Auntie Tasha was not only a role model to me but my favourite person in the world. Every day I would call her and ask to come to her apartment. We would go swimming and she would take me shopping and share her sense of style with me. I remember going to Grenada for her funeral but at the time I didn’t not know it. Tash! What a way to go! But God knows best. I met Tasha through my Mum Stella Parkes(deceased) and Tasha's aunt "Sheila"(deceased) in 1992. Tasha had a very flamboyant and fun-loving personality and irresistible infectious, bubbly, humour, but was a very serious and well-focused individual. She willingly carried other people's burdens and always looked for ways to upgrade herself and to help others. On behalf of the Jeffrey Family, I would like to express our deepest sympathy to all the Dominique's Family. Natasha was introduced to our family when she was 15 years old. She had a beautiful and cheerful personality. I met her when I sponsored her and Michael to come to Canada, and it was love at first sight. I could remember her smiles and jokes. Natasha and Michael were our neighbours for a few years before moving to Roblin. I was saddened to hear first of his passing and now hers. Natasha was a wonderfully cheerful and friendly neighbour, a blessing to live next to. She always had a moment, even in passing, to speak to our children and elderly neighbours alike. It is a tragic loss and our heartfelt sympathy goes out to all her friends and family.
