Maurice and I are so sorry for the loss of your Baba and mother. We miss seeing your friendly faces as we get off the elevator and of course the toe-licking and greetings from Peaches. She was a fiesty lady always enjoying her treats but I am sure so happy to have you all visit her so regularly. Thank you also for sharing Peaches with Maurice. Aunty Mimi brought so much love and joy to our family. Spaghetti every Monday night, her Babka, Kutia for Christmas that my sister and I would fight over, dresses made for us and our dolls and the very best hugs in the world. Your love knew no bounds and your precious daughter and greandchildren were so blessed to have been on the receiving end of that love. You adored Stephanie, Natalie and Taylor so much. As your niece, you always had my back. Literally. I could lay on your couch with my head on your lap and you would scratch my back for hours. Many times I would doze off. You would find pretty ribbons in your sewing kit and french braid my hair for me. Of course it was pulled so tight my eyebrows would be way up high. You made my favorite dress for me when Aunty Betty and Uncle Ed were married back in 1966. Your dressmaking skills were amazing. My Mom loved when you made things for her, especially the halter dress for a family wedding. It certainly was scandalous. All I can think of right now is you are home with Babcha and Giga and all your siblings. I know you missed having my Mom to talk to when skating came on tv. Now my Mom, Barbara and you can watch together. Love you Aunty Mimi, forever and ever. - Posted by: Andrea Hall (Niece) on: Jun 06, 2013
