JACOB RUSSELL WRIGHT It is with extreme sadness that we announce the accidental death of our son Jacob Russell Wright on June 2, 2013 at the age of 17. Jacob is survived by his parents David Anthony Wright and Shari Louise Wright (Webber), siblings Jayne Leah (19), Joshua David Mitchell (15), Jillian Jorja Douglas (nine), grandparents Lawrence Russell and Shirley Wright (Beyak) and Douglas and Sigrun Helen Webber (Martin), great-grandparents M. Ruth Wright and Jeanne and Charles Usher, aunts and uncles Glen and Carol Newstater and family, Toni (Webber) and Nelson Morberg and family, Sigrun Jeanne (Webber) and Mike Reimer and family, Lawrence Russell and Landa Wright (Stewart), and Bryan and Jaclyn Wright (Wells) and family along with numerous great-aunts and uncles, cousins, second cousins, family, and an endless list of friends. Jacob made friends everywhere he went. We loved picking him up from the airport or bus depot, he would have made a new friend and know their whole life story, and would have some amazing philosophical conversations to share with everyone. He was a unique young man who was a delight to talk to, even if you didn't agree with what he was saying you could see the thought and intelligence behind his words. His hugs were legendary, and were loved by all who were lucky enough to get one "which was pretty much everyone he knew". Jacob was a student at Bishop O'Byrne High School in Calgary, AB and attended Winnipegosis Collegiate in Winnipegosis, MB in 2011/2012. Jacob loved the outdoors, working with his hands, whether he was drawing, writing rap songs making something from wood or metal or rebuilding a snowmobile motor to go for a ride. He was an extremely creative and sensitive young man. He had a huge heart and was always available to listen to a friend or family member and offer some wise words to help them through. He truly loved and was truly loved. As we move forward we bring with us all the laughter, love, lessons, and memories that Jacob has blessed us with. A celebration of Jacob's life will be held on Thursday, June 6, 2013 at 3:00 p.m. at the Kleefeld Evangelical Mennonite Church, 25121 Rd. 35N, Kleefeld, MB.
