My most vivid memory of Dave involved an impromptu decision among 4 friends to go to Grand Forks, that evolved into a road trip to Hermosa Beach, California. 6 days in a car with nothing but the rest of our lives in front of us! i did not have the opportunity to become a close friend of dave's. he was always observed with some distance. i wish i would have known him better, but then again if that happened it would hurt even more. its pretty unbelievable, its entirely unjust. a big guy with a big heart and loved his life and lived it with a smile every time i saw him. a guy you wished you could be. the tragedy is he probably doesnt know how special he was. i never told him. gosh sue - Posted by: jeff arychuk (friend of a friend) on: Jun 07, 2013
