GEORGE LAWFORD Peacefully on Wednesday, June 5, 2013 at the Portage General Hospital, George Lawford, beloved husband of Phyllis Lawford and dear father of Richard Lawford and Marilyn Cote, passed away at the age of ninety five years. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 11, 2013 at 1:30 p.m. in the First Street Gospel Hall, 102 First Street N. W. Portage la Prairie with interment to follow in Evergreen Memorial Gardens. I grew up attending the Pine Creek Gospel Hall where the Lawfords attended Georg and Jimmy were close friends of my Mother and Dad. Elwood and Vera Ainsworth. Fond memories. My deepest Sympathy.
