Bernard was born on May 5, 1925 at Carey, MB. He leaves to mourn in his passing, the love of his life for 63 years, Marie-Ange (née Duval), his son Richard Hébert and his five daughters, Pauline and Jon Erwin, Louise and Jeff Kendall, Léonne and Ken Miller, Jocelyne and Mark Urgitus, Suzette and Stephen Bush along with their families. He also leaves to mourn two brothers, Léo and Gilbert and two sisters, Lorraine Bérard (late Gérard) and Cécile Roy. He was also predeceased by his son Gilles Hébert, his brothers Paul and Benoît, two sisters Raymonde and Cora and his brother-in-law Gérard Bérard. Bernard was always busy working outdoors, building or fixing something. He was a Jack of all Trades, doing anything from custom painting, wallpapering and woodworking. He always took the time to help friends and neighbours with any projects they were working on. In his earlier years, he enjoyed travelling and camping with his family. He had a great sense of humor and you would often find him teasing those around him. A private family celebration of Bernard's life was held Sunday, May 26, in Prescott, AZ. Cremation has taken place and the sealing into the Columbarium was held on Monday, May 27, Memorial Day, at Mountain Meadows Memorial Park in Payson, AZ. The family wishes to extend its gratitude to the staff of Bella Vista Senior Living in Mesa, AZ for the great care given to Bernard in the last two years of his life. A father is one of God's first gifts to our hearts, and his love stays with us always.
