Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemorySHEPHARD ISENSTEIN Peacefully, after a lengthy illness, Shephard Samuel Isenstein (Sheppy) passed away on June 1, 2013 at the Victoria Hospital at the age of 94. Predeceased by his parents Yonah and Leah, sisters Eva, Ida, Jean and Francis, nieces Joanne, Arlene and Simma, and nephew Shep. Survived by his loving wife Hanna Anne, sons Norman (Susan) and Irwin, granddaughters Sari and Michelle, and his many nephews and nieces. Sheppy was first and foremost a family man, a highly respected pharmacist, Canadian and an ardent Zionist. Mom and dad supported each other through a number of medical challenges with unfaltering love and respect for one another. Our gratitude to Dr. Cavers, Dr. Munsamy, and nurse Monica at the Victoria Hospital. A special thank you to Elizabeth Garcia for her compassion and kindness to Sheppy for many years. A graveside service was held at the Shaarey Zedek Cemetery on Sunday, June 2, officiated by Rabbi Larry Lander. Pallbearers were sons Norman and Irwin, Frank Levitt, Arch Honigman, Danny Gunn, and Ken Einhorn. In lieu of flowers, kindly donate to the charity of your choice.

My condolences to Anne, Norm and Irwin and family. I have fond memories of my days working for Sheppy. He was caring and sharing. I remember the corned beef sandwiches and other special treats he shared with me on Sundays. - Posted by: Paulette Migie (friend) on: Jun 08, 2013
