ROBERT (BOB) HOWARD LOGANBERG Peacefully at Victoria Hospital, on Saturday, May 25, 2013, Bob Loganberg, passed away at the age of 71. Born in Winnipeg on March 6, 1942, to Millie and Joe, Bob spent his early years in Old Kildonan and West St. Paul. Schooled at Red River and West St. Paul, Bob graduated from West Kildonan Collegiate. While working in the family gardening operation, Bob would often swim the Red River with brother Cliff to cool off during breaks. He had an uncanny memory, enabling him to recite dates of interest and weather statistics, exact temperature on specific dates, as well as proficiency in math. Bob worked at Eaton's for several years, then for Ron in his market gardening business. Bob, very modest and organized, preferred a quiet, reclusive life in the downtown area. His declining health necessitated many hospital stays and home care assistance. Our heartfelt thanks to Jean Chennell, nurse, advisor and confidante to Bob; Diana and staff of Home Care, and the dedicated doctors and nurses of Victoria Hospital, Debbie, Blanca and many others. Bob will be remembered by brother Ron (Audrey) of Lac du Bonnet, Brad, Terry and Deanne; brother Cliff (Lois), Jaclyn, Cara-Lee and Cam; and sister Doris Blunderfield (George) of Kelowna, Scott, Boyd and Trenell. Special thanks to Cliff for being there and attending to Bob when he needed help and looking after his affairs over the last few years. A graveside gathering will be held at Kildonan Presbyterian Cemetery, 2373 Main St., on July 4, 2013, at 2:00 p.m., and afterwards at Kildonan Community Church adjacent.
