EILENE LEZACK August 23, 1920 June 19, 2013 With sadness, we announce the passing of our Auntie Eilene. A second mother to Dr. Brian Abrams (Karen), and Jo-Anne Abrams, she was beloved by many nieces and nephews, Dr. Jack Lezack (Carol), Brenda Benovich (Irv), Rhona Simon (Richard) and Hudson Lezack (Arlene). She will always hold a special place in the hearts of her many great-nieces and nephews, Erin Abramson, Joel Abrams, Lisa Papai, Adam Lezack, Tami Cairns, Sarah-Beth Klug, Michael Benovich and their families. Auntie Eilene had a zest for life and a valiant heart. She loved her family and they loved her back! She had great determination to live another two good years but at almost 93, it was not to be. She now rejoins in peace, her beloved brothers Sam and Leo Lezack and sister Florence Abrams. A graveside funeral service will be held at Rosh Pina Memorial Park, 2795 Main Street at 9:30 a.m., Sunday, June 23, followed by a meal of condolence at Shaftesbury Retirement Residence, 905 Shaftesbury Blvd. If desired, memorial donations may be made to The Florence Abrams Endowment Fund, Manitoba Jewish Foundation (204-477-7520).
