  • Madrinha you were a wonderful woman and inspired us all with your courage and determination in life. I will miss your smile, picking flowers in your garden sitting in your backyard enjoying your wonderful dinners. Brianna so enjoyed visiting and spending time with chico and sharing laughs with you. I will cherish our memories when you lived on Atlantic and we watched the young and the restless together everyday at 4pm during the summer we never missed an episode. I will always cherish going for morning breakfasts with you and tio soares on Wednesdays to Perkins. I so enjoyed when you would show up at my door with a bag of fresh vegetables from your garden and your homemade spaghetti and chicken. You thought of me always. Over the past several weeks you courageously fought with illness and not once did you shed a tear. Words cannot express how much meaning you brought to my life. My heart is heavy but consoled in the fact that you are no longer suffering and at peace in heaven. I miss you madrinha Maria I love you and will cherish our memories in my heart forever. We will all miss you! - Posted by: Lisa Machado and Family (Goddaughter) on: Jun 23, 2013
