DONALD ZENO SLAVUTA February 3, 1919 - June 20, 2013 Our beloved father, husband, Gigi, brother, uncle and friend, Donald passed away with family by his side at the age of 94 years at Percy E. Moore Hospital. Donald is survived by his wife Helen of 67 years (Sholikowski), his six surviving children Johnny, Donny (Helen), Diane, Barbara (John Hubar), Shirley, Jerome (Mindy), and many grandchildren and great- children, nieces and nephews. Donald is also survived by his sister Stella Monaster from Inwood and his sister-in-law Josephine Gorchynski in Saskatchewan. Donald was predeceased by his daughter Eileen, his parents Kuzma and Anna, his brother John, John's first wife Helen and second wife Alice, his daughter- in-law Linda (Johnny), son-in-law Don Shoemaker (Diane) and his brothers-in-law Steve Monaster (Stella), Alfred (Edith), Bert, Walter, John Sholikowski, and John Gorchynski (Josephine)and his sister-in-law Clara Kostelecky. Cremation has taken place. Final farewell (memorial service) will be on Wednesday, June 26, 2013, at 1:00 p.m. at the Fisher Funeral Home chapel, in Fisher Branch, Manitoba. Interment will be held at Sylvan Public Cemetery. Lunch after service will be at the Ukrainian National Hall (the old hall). FISHER FUNERAL HOME INC. In care of arrangements.
