JULIUS (JOE) NYARADY May 24, 1930 June 20, 2013 Julius (Joe) Nyarady passed away on June 20, 2013 at the age of 83 at the Lake of the Woods District Hospital after a long courageous battle with cancer with his family by his side. Joe was born in Welland, ON and later moved to Fort Garry, MB with his family where he spent the earlier years of his life. His family eventually moved to Kenora where they owned and operated Paddy Lake Tourist Camp. Joe met the love of his life Dorothy (nee Bay) in Winnipeg, MB and were married in 1960. Joe and his younger brother Mike became business partners in Kenora operating East End Tire Service, Hi-way Gasateria and Pineland Drive-in on the East Highway from 1958 1979 when Mike passed away. Joe is survived by his loving wife Dorothy of 52 years, two daughters Darlene (Philip) Humphrey of Toronto, ON and Gale (Richard) Cederwall and grandson Andrew of Kenora, ON. Joe is also survived by a very special niece Dawn (Eric) Powell of Thunder Bay and nephew Rick and family of New Brunswick. Joe and Dot were very fortunate in having exceptionally caring neighbours who looked out after them especially in their later years. He is predeceased by his parents Sylvester and Paulina, and younger brother and business partner Mike. As per Joe's wishes, cremation and a private family interment will take place. In lieu of flowers, donations in Joe's honour may be made to the charity of choice.
