MARJORIE E. TRIGG Marjorie Margaret Evelyn Trigg (née Berry) was born in Montreal and, following a life dedicated to her husband and family, passed away June 17, 2013. She was married for 59 years to Eric, who predeceased her in 2008. She is survived by her four children, Linda, Heather (Jim Hunter), Bruce (Ann) and David (Katheryn); her seven grandchildren, Sandra, Margaret (Dennis), Elizabeth, Kevin (Meghan), Laura, Rebecca and Austin; and her two great-grandchildren, Mason and Hannah, all of whom she loved very much. Eric's lengthy and distinguished career with Alcan Aluminium involved international postings, and Marjorie was the rock that shepherded the family through all the moves. She was an enthusiastic traveller, and together the family travelled extensively. Marjorie and Eric finally resettled in Montreal some 30 years ago. Marjorie was athletic, a strong and enthusiastic competitor, who maintained her optimistic outlook and positive attitude no matter the circumstances. She had a wonderful and infectious sense for fun and adventure, happiest when gathering family and friends for special occasions. Compassionate, yet independent and determined, she lived her life with grace, conviction, strength and hope. She was deeply loved and will be sadly missed. A service was held at Mount Royal Cemetery in Montreal.
