I knew Dick in the Yukon, and only just heard of his passing. We travelled the territory together for several summers in the 80's working on Agriculture Test Plots. I learned a great deal from him and enjoyed his company a great deal. - Posted by: Margaret Ames (Friend) on: Dec 16, 2015

Condolences to all family. I was honored to spend many informative, educational and fun filled hours with "Dick" during his work with the Shelterbelt Program. His stories were humorous and he never seemed to tell the same one over. RIP Alvin Jones - Posted by: Alvin Jones (friend) on: Jun 30, 2013
