Date of Passing: Jul 01, 2013
Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryANNETTE MORRISSETTE (nee PELOQUIN) September 2, 1917 - July 1, 2013 It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Annette Morrissette (nee Peloquin) into the arms of our Lord. Annette was predeceased by her husband Albert in 1993 and recently her son-in-law Dan Morrissette. She is lovingly remembered by her children and their spouses, Ray (Noella), Leon (Eleanor), Elaine (Michel), Aurele (Margaret), Diane, and Norm (Mavis), 19 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. She also leaves to mourn her passing her sisters Martha Arnal and Jeanne Marcoux (Omer) as well as her brothers-in-law Alfred Goebel and Armand Verot. Mom lived her entire life with gusto in St-Pierre-Jolys. She was a natural peacemaker who forgave readily and always had the door open for friends and family. She dearly loved each one of us and our friends, spending many nights playing cards at her kitchen table. She was an inspiration to us all and will be dearly missed. Our family would like to extend its appreciation to Dr. Mairi Burnett, and to all the nursing staff at Repos Jolys for the exceptional care and love demonstrated towards our mother. The funeral mass will be held in the St-Pierre Roman Catholic Church Saturday July 6, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. with a power point presentation at 1:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, a donation may be sent to DeSalaberry Foundation/Repos Jolys, PO Box 56, 340 Prefontaine St., St-Pierre-Jolys, MB, R0A 1V0.

I worked with Leon and Eleanor as a KATIMAVIK VOLUNTEER in the Spring of 1981. Leon taught me how to plant flax seed across the road. Mme. Morrissette was a gracious presence and was like a mother to me during my time on the farm. I have many fond memories of my time on the Morrissette farm. They even drove me up to Otterburne to attend Mass. Mme. Morrissette is in my prayers. My deepest sympathy to the family. Randy O'Connor - Posted by: Randall O'Connor (Acquaintance) on: May 11, 2014

RIP tante. - Posted by: Edith Et Sam Gionet (Cousin) on: Jul 08, 2013
