ANNE KUSHNIER Peacefully, in her sleep, Anne Kushnier passed away Monday, July 1, 2013 at the age of 89. Prayers will be said on Thursday, July 4 at 8:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. at Inkster. Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, July 11 at 10:00 a.m. at Cropo. Anne, Nick, and the rest of the Kushnier clan were a huge part of our family's life while we lived in Winnipeg. I fondly remember the cabbage rolls, perogies, and wonderful jams that Anne made in her very welcoming kitchen. To all the Kushnier family, We were so sorry to hear of your Mom's passing. After so many years of living as neighbors on Dunvegan Street, she was a big part of our lives. I grew up with her children. We were just in Winnipeg for the long weekend and my brother & I were talking about the amazing firework displays that they set off every year when we were kids. My boys remember being allowed to swim in that lovely pool and Anne's kindness towards them, providing them with pop & treats. It's the end of an era I guess.
