When I married Chris and became part of this wonderful crazy family, Uncle Billy was the person who constantly said "how's my 1995 niece doing?" every time he saw me. He had an infectious laugh and the most incredible loving heart. He will be deeply missed by all. My heartfelt sympathies and love go out to all that knew and loved him. Rest in peace Uncle Bill. Many, many years ago, Bill came to my home for a visit. I hadn't been able to reach him to say not to come because I was sick. I had had a wisdom tooth extracted that morning and quickly developed a terrible infection. Bill spent about six hours taking care of me. He didn't leave until I finally drifted off into a deep sleep. We were very young at the time and to think a young man of maybe 20 would spend his entire Friday evening literally caring for a sick friend was almost unheard of. In all the years since, I have never forgotten Bill's kindness and caring. Condolences to Bill's entire family. Especially to Edith. I used to work with Edith and we became friends for a time. Rest well, Bill. - Posted by: Margaret (McCann) Chase (A friend from over forty years ago.) on: Jul 06, 2013
