Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryEVAN MILES NELSON December 5, 1985 - July 7, 2013 In Loving Memory Suddenly, Evan left us to be with the Creator and family that has gone on to the Spirit world. Evan leaves to mourn, his common-law wife Marilyn (Moose), his parents Donna Nelson (Roseau River First Nation) and Allen Brown (Red Lake First Nation), brothers Sean Nelson (Charlene), Raymond Nelson (Stephanie), and Chester Berens (Jaye), and also numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Evan will be sadly missed. We love you Evan and will always remember you. Traditional service will be conducted by Denis Black of the Ebb and Flow First Nation. Services will take place on the Roseau River First Nation at the Makoons Centre on Thursday, July 11, 2013 at 12:00 p.m. Evan will be laid to rest immediately following the service in Roseau Rapids. Pallbearers are: Chester Berens, Aaron Larocque, Sean Nelson, Calvin Nelson Jr., Raymond Nelson, Jason Seenie; Honorary pallbearers are Justin Seenie, Melvin Chaske, Joseph Mitchell and Paul Cha.

I met evan ten years ago. He was a fighter, true warrior and a special friend. I loved him dearly. He was always here for me no matter what. Momma will miss you sadly.
