Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryGORDON CAMERON KIDDER February 24, 1928 - July 6, 2013 It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of a truly unforgettable man, Gordon Cameron Kidder, on July 6, 2013. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, uncle, friend, and neighbour. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Edith, son Gordy, grandchildren Jenny (Joshua Wilson) and Katie (Christopher Samms), and daughter-in-law Dawn. A private memorial will be held at a later date in accordance with his wishes. In his honour, donations can be made to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Winnipeg.

I worked with Gord at Cara at the airport as a baker. Truly one of the best men I ever met. So sad to hear of his passing. I also worked with his son there for awhile. It is with very sad hearts, my sisters, brother and I wish to express our condolences to Edith, Gordie and family. We have such fond memories of our parents, Edith and Danny Hauff, and summertime visits from Gordon, Edith and Gordie, who were cherished friends of our parents. We lost our own parents several years ago, but still, it all seems just like yesterday when we were young, strong and filled with such fun, health and vigour, including ourselves, our parents and their friends. Time seems to be a broken bridge that eventually separates us... even so.. we just want the Kidder family to know we share your heavy heart at the loss of such a really nice man, whom we will always remember with glad hearts.
