Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryDANNY DUECK February 19, 1984 - July 14, 2013 It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Danny Dueck at the age of 29 on a perfect Sunday morning, doing what he loved most, dirt biking. Danny left us much too soon. He will forever be remembered by his Dad Dan (Karen), his Mom Jane (Dan), his brother Christian (Jessica), and his children Skylar and Aaliyah. Danny "Agoo" leaves his nephew Leland, with whom he had a very special bond. He also leaves his grandparents Jeanne and Neil Dueck, Anne Murray and Tonny Hjorting, many aunts, uncles, cousins and his extended family, the Forresters and the Romaniuks, and his many, many friends. Danny was born on February 19, 1984. He attended school in Niverville, Nordale and graduated from Nelson MacIntyre Collegiate in 2002. He attended the University of Manitoba, worked at Kitchen Craft and Norcraft. In 2010, Danny decided to follow his passion and love of motorcycles and enrolled into the motorcycle tech course, graduating top of his class. He was hired the next day out of school and has worked at Capitol Motorsports ever since. He was so passionate about his work and loved every minute. Danny will always be remembered for his good soul and big heart. He was always willing to help anyone. He is a good kid. A big thank you goes out to Danny's work family (Dave and all the guys at Capitol) for all of your support, to the R.C.M.P., EMS, and Beausejour Hospital for their compassion and care and to all of his dirt bike family for being there with him. Danny was a big part of the Capitol Motosports family. He was an excellent motorcycle tech. He was reliable, a fast learner, and he could be trusted with very technical tasks. Danny built the best ice-tire in all of Manitoba. He was however, so much more than an employee. Countless hours were spent joking with the boys and talking about their passion; dirt bikes. Danny had a non-stop smile and fit right in everywhere he went. During any ride, Danny would stop what he was doing to help you with your bike. He was just that type of guy, genuinely one of the best. Danny was everyone’s riding buddy. He could be found on any given Sunday riding at one of his many favorite places surrounded by his favorite people. Danny was a good rider, getting better every day. He was enjoying his new Yamaha very much. Danny passed away doing what he loved. He really, really loved to ride. We think about Danny all the time. Dave, Nick, Matt and Jay, Rachel, Jeremy and Jessica miss his presence daily at Capitol. It is definitely not the same. But we take comfort in one thing: Danny’s time on this earth was short, but it was full. He lived his life the way he wanted to, gave us awesome memories, and reached for the sky. -The Capitol Motosports Family - Posted by: The Capitol Motosports Family () on: Jul 23, 2013

When you walk into the back of Capitol Motorsports Danny was always "wrenching" on a bike and smiling. His smile was infectious! He was always willing to help you with a technical question and always had the answer..He will be missed dearly by all his friends, family and customers. Our condolences go out to all the great guys at Capitol Motorsports and Dan's family and friends. My first memory of Danny is from Kitchen Craft. He would always smile, nod, and say "hi" when we crossed paths even though we didn't know one another. So when he joined Norcraft I took him under my wing and showed him the ropes. We became friends. From hanging out to going to jiu jitsu class, Danny was always a pleasure to be around. Aside from being a "human encyclopedia", Danny had a heart of gold. Always willing to lend a helping hand. The world lost a good man. May you "ride in peace" my heartfelt condolences goes to his family especially Dan senior. I'm so sorry for your loss. - Posted by: Danny Rojas (friend) on: Jul 18, 2013

I always looked forward to seeing him at Capitol, where he had a smile for everyone. RIP. - Posted by: ken Bentley (Friend of family) on: Jul 18, 2013

I have known Danny since elementary school. He has always been a great person and a pleasure to be around. Danny had a strong passion for basically anything with an engine, I remember when we were dirt biking at the Grunthal track, I was driving my YZ 100 and I took a jump all I heard was you and Dan screaming with excitement on how high I jumped, Dan said I was the jump king, not too long after that Danny jumped higher and further than I ever could he was the new jump king. You're an amazing person Danny, you always helped me when I needed it. I will miss you lots. To Jane, Karen, Dan and family I'm very sorry for your loss. First met Danny when he was a student in my program; our relationship developed into a good friendship. Student taught the teacher when he 'schooled' me on the ice at St. Malo. If you were having a bad day, Danny's joy, smile, and optimism always made the bad go away. Motosport and everyone you touched will miss you. Thank you for being in our lives. On behalf of my Moto-Medic team, I extend heartfelt condolences to Danny's family, friends, and his team-mates at Capitol Motorsports. It's been said that the greatest risk in life is to not risk living. Danny risked living and, as a result, he really lived! In so doing, Danny and his family enriched the lives of everyone else associated with the awesome motocross race family. To all who mourn in these dreadful early days, I can only wish you PEACE.
