Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARGARET MARY POITRAS (nee ARMSTRONG) With regret we announce the passing of our dear mother on July 14, 2013. She was born in Fort Frances, ON on May 7, 1930. She is predeceased by her parents Adelaide and Thomas Armstrong, her six brothers and one sister. She is survived by one sister Helen Lindholm in Seattle, WA, her sisters-in-law Lilian and Grace Armstrong of Fort Frances, ON, Rita Armstrong of Thunder Bay, ON, and Ruth Poitras of Winnipeg, MB, brother-in-law Bill Fontyn of Smith Falls, ON. She is also survived by her five children, Yvonne (Gordon), Lynn (Wayne), Kenneth (Kim), Karen, and Larry, six grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and numerous nephews and nieces and her loyal companion Little Lady. A memorial mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 18, 2013 at Holy Redeemer Roman Catholic Church, 264 Donwood Drive, North Kildonan. May these rich blessings be your due- A wealth of Friendships Old and new, Quiet nights and busy days, Time for prayer And time for praise, Service rendered, solace given, And gentle peace With God and heaven.
