I would like to tell Tara, Joey and the rest of the family how sorry I am for their loss. I only knew Max as a teenager, and by the stories I've read about him, it seems he stayed the same.... Funny, sweet, and loved soo much. I'm glad I had the privilege to know you, Max. R.I.P. - Posted by: kim klohn (friend of max's sister) on: Aug 18, 2013

We were shocked to receive Kristi's call this morning. Max had the ability to make everyone laugh with his jokes. We will never forget the time Max tricked us into thinking his "real" name was Douglas! We were reading other comments on here and wanted to re-iterate what Adrienne said: Max and Kristi (we thought it was Krissy for the longest time!) were a great team. Going above and beyond does not even begin to touch on the compassion we saw. Our deepest condolences are extended to all of Max's loved ones during this difficult time. - Posted by: All of us at "PMC" ;) () on: Aug 06, 2013

I am sad that max passed away. max came to the humane society on mondays sometimes and we would visit with all the cats and dogs. max let the cats play with straws and the cats had fun. rip max - Posted by: Dennis () on: Jul 25, 2013

Dear uncle Max, you are missed so much already. Your pranks and heart warming laugh will always be remembered. You were a huge part of our family and always will be. Thanks for always being there for my mom and being a great uncle to me, syd and Milan. I didn't like watching you suffer and I'm glad that you are now with papa again and of course your beautiful mother (who I wish I got to meet). I love you so much uncle max. xo - Posted by: Lindsay McKay (Niece) on: Jul 23, 2013

We did not know Max well or for very long. My son shared a hospital room with Max for a few days at HSC. I had returned to the room on Thursday because I wanted to mention to Chrissy that I was very impressed with the care and compassion she gave Max while we were there. I did not want to bother grieving loved ones when I came to realize that Max had passed away. I'm not sure if she was family or a friend, but Chrissy showed special care with Max. My son especially liked when she read out loud, he would take his headphones out and listen to the story too (we couldn't help but laugh when Max told her she had to make animal noises to go along with that zoo book!) Max seemed to be in good hands and I want to thank her for making my son's hospital stay better too. - Posted by: Adrienne :) ((Max's hospital-roommate's mom)) on: Jul 23, 2013

My condolences to your family on the passing of Max. I had Max as an athlete in my bowling program many years ago, and he was always very pleasant & helped out whenever he could with bowlers who were more challenged. May he rest in peace. - Posted by: Margaret Martin (Special Olympics Mosienko 5 Pin Bowling Coach) on: Jul 23, 2013

My Dear Brother, I guess this is real. I keep hoping it's a bad dream, Max, but it's not. Family dinners will never be the same without you (we will always set you a plate). Max, I couldn't see you suffering 'cause I was only thinking how I could not lose you ... but that's selfish! So I prayed for you to go home to our mother and father and you did! Many were there to greet you ~ I know that! I Love you, Max, wholeheartedly always have and always will! And, yes, one day we will still retire together, just you and I, My Brother, as that was always "the plan"! Together forever, for Eternity! - Posted by: Tara Fagnan (Sister) on: Jul 22, 2013
