ANNA JANSEN Peacefully on July 17, 2013 at the age of 80 years Anna passed away at the Pembina Place Mennonite Personal Care Home. Anna was predeceased in 2001 by her husband John of 51 years. She will be lovingly missed by her children Linda (David) Jansen-Stewart, Sandra, Lorna (Emilio) Tacchi, John (Shauna), James, Shirley (Ken Wall) and Melissa; grandchildren David Tacchi, Bianca Corden and Sarah Jansen-Stewart, and one great-grandson Ariston Tacchi. She is also survived by sisters Jessie and Margaret and brothers Bill and Henry, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Anna loved gardening, nature, being outdoors, fishing and star gazing. She passed on her love of baking and cooking to her children who will all miss the great foods she made. She lived for her family and before passing was able to make one last trip to Saskatchewan to visit family who were all delighted to see her. She enjoyed a good comedy and lots of laughter. The family would like to thank the staff at the Pembina Place Mennonite Personal Care Home for the excellent care she received. A private family graveside service will be held. A Memorial Service celebrating Anna's life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Manitoba Lung Association or the Winnipeg Humane Society.
