RAYMOND CHRISTIAN GOODMAN 1923 - 2013 On July 8 2013, with his wife Kathy by his side, Raymond Christian Goodman passed away peacefully at McKinney Place in Oliver, BC. Raymond was predeceased by his father Christian, mother Margaret and grandson Richard Cooper. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife Kathy, daughter Suzanne MacDonald (Randy), daughter Carol Goodman (Arthur Matthews) and son Ross Goodmansson (Carol), grandchildren; Chrystoph, Erik and Kristen as well as great- grandchildren Payton and Jude. During the Second World War Raymond was on active duty with the Fort Garry Horse Tank Corps. He spent his working years with Dickson Motors, Carter Motors and Gourmet Coffee. Dad was an avid and proficient golfer and a long standing member with the Assiniboine Golf Course in Winnipeg and Fairview Golf Course in Oliver. He also enjoyed curling and held memberships with Deer Lodge Curling Club and the Oliver Curling Club. He also held long standing memberships with the Masons and the Elks. After his father's passing in 1981, Ray and Kathy relocated to Oliver, BC to look after his mother, where they spent many happy years and made many long lasting friendships. In keeping with Dad's wishes, cremation has taken place and a cemetery service was held Sunday, July 14, 2013 at the Scattering Garden of the Oliver Municipal Cemetery. Rest in peace Dad.
