Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJOHN ST CLAIR FINCH John St Clair Finch born November 19, 1910 passed away quietly on July 17, 2013 at the age of 102. He was predeceased by his parents, Hillard and Elizabeth Stewart; and wife Mary-Ellen Finch. He is survived by his son, John. He will be missed by Norma Finch; his grandchildren Wayne (Rhonda) and Alicia (Dennis); his great-grandchildren Shay, Coyt, Preston and Brooke. John worked as a letter carrier and on a mail train. He was also a flash spotter for the Royal Canadian Artillery. He was known for his love of golf at Pine Ridge Golf Club and his quiet nature. It was not unusual for him to help out anyone in need. His family would like to thank Kildonan Personal Care Home for the love and care that they showed him for the years he had lived there. Viewing will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 23, 2013 at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue, Winnipeg, MB. R3K 1W3. With a graveside service to follow.
