MARGARET ELIZABETH MCKENZIE Peacefully in her 86th year, Margaret Elizabeth McKenzie (nee Glenesk) passed away at South Muskoka Memorial Hospital on the fourth of July, 2013. Beloved wife of the late John McKenzie and loving mother to Glen (Juanita) McKenzie of Winnipeg, and Ian (Mandy) McKenzie of Bracebridge. She will be fondly remembered by her grandchildren Matthew, Kristina, John, and Kevin as well as her brothers Ernie (Hilda) Glenesk and Sydney (Lorraine) Glenesk. After marrying John in 1952, Margaret lived and made homes in BC, Alberta, Manitoba, Metz, France, and finally in Ontario. Cremation has taken place, and private interment will be held in the future. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation. Messages of condolence can be made at www.reynoldsfuneral.com.

My thoughts are with Glen and Ian and their families. My father has told us many wonderful things about Aunt Margaret and I remember her from visits to the States. ....her happy and out-going nature, a laugh that was contagious. She loved everyone and was kind and thoughtful always. Aunt Marg visited us at our Lake of the Woods cottage. She also made the trip to California for a visit.
