A shock and humbling time as Bev was a community champion at so many activities, not looking for recognition - just extending her hand to help others and be part of a making a stronger community. I will miss her advice and warm character, her caring compassion and conviction for life! - Posted by: Mark Miller (neighbour) on: Aug 05, 2013

Bev always put others needs before her own and helped out whenever she could. I will certainly miss her friendship and certainly her little red car, the first car to pull in at the pancake breakfasts. Her devotion to volunteering for the many causes cannot be replaced. Bev, you fought the good fight, you finished the race you kept the faith. The pain is over, rest in peace. Bruce, my sincere condolences, we are available if you need us. - Posted by: Gerry Koreman and Fern Tardiff (Friend) on: Aug 03, 2013

I am so sorry that I didn't get to say goodbye as we were away when all of this was happening - Bev was truly a wonderful person and will be sadly missed by many of the two-legged and four-legged variety! I will greatly miss seeing her at Cook's Creek Community Club and throughout the community where she was well known for her volunteering. She always had a smiling face and something funny to say. I was truly blessed to have known her. Our thoughts and prayers are with you Bruce - know that Bev is now in a wonderful place. God Bless. - Posted by: Candi Bezte (Friend) on: Aug 02, 2013
