December 9, 1936 - Winnipeg, MB July 26, 2013 - Edmonton, AB Ken passed away at home surrounded by family, after a courageous fight against Leukemia. Ken grew up in Charleswood, graduate of U. of M. (Civil Engineering). After a career with CP Rail, he settled in Edmonton in 1974, working for the Province of Alberta and City of Edmonton. Ken is survived by his wife, Margaret, four children and seven grandchildren. In Manitoba, he is survived by brother Matt (Sheila), sisters Carolynn (Ed) Derkach and Judith Dedrick-Williams (Alan), as well as nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by parents Matthew, Sophia and brother Bill. Service and interment will be held in Edmonton. A Memorial Mass for Ken will be held at 9:00 a.m., Wednesday, July 31 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, 4588 Roblin Blvd., Charleswood. Share Memories, express condolences at edmontonjournal.com
