LUCIE B. CRAIG August 25, 1929 - July 28, 2013 It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Lucie Craig. Lucie passed away peacefully at the age of 83 while residing at Vista Park Lodge. She is survived by her son, Gordon and his wife, Karen, and her favourite granddaughter, Chantal Harper, who was the light of her life. Also, special friends Lorraine Harper and Terrence Sawchuk. Lucie was widowed in 1974, and as a result spent her life ensuring a healthy, happy and loving childhood for Gordon. She loved to read everything, collect recipes, plant flowers, cook and enjoyed a cigarette while doing all the above. A special thank you to Lorraine who shared a very special bond with Lucie and always knew how to make her laugh. There will be an informal celebration of Lucie's life to share memories and laughs at the home of her son, Gordon on Saturday, August 3 at 2:30 p.m. Cremation has taken place. Thank you to the staff of Vista Park Lodge for all the special care she received while a resident. In lieu of flowers, please feel free to make a donation to Siloam Mission in Lucie's name.
