DELMARIE (DEL) EUNICE SCHOEPP May 1, 1925 - Langenburg, Saskatchewan August 1, 2013 - Calgary, Alberta With love and sadness we announce the passing of Del on Thursday, August 1, 2013 at the Rockyview Hospital at the age of 88 years. Del was born in Langenburg, SK. She attended St. Mary's Academy in Winnipeg, and then returned to her home town where she married the love of her life, Louis Schoepp, at the age of 19. Del worked at the TD bank in Langenburg. Del and Louis moved to Calgary in 1962 where she worked for Dr. Hopkins as a dental assistant where she enjoyed her career, colleagues and patients. She loved to socialize and tend to her beautiful home and yard on Calendar Road. Del and Louis loved their travels to Hawaii and their cruises together with family and friends. Del loved her sports and was an avid fan of her Calgary teams. Family was very important to Del and she was honoured to have her mom live with them for many years. Del travelled back and forth to Winnipeg to visit her brother and his family as much as she could. Del touched many people with her smile, kindness and joy for living. Del is survived by her brother Charles (Pearl) Langer; niece Cheryl Langer (Gord McTavish); nephew Brian Langer (Terri Dyck); grand-nieces Chelsea McTavish (Curtis Hughson) and Aimee Langer; grand-nephews Alan McTavish, Reid McTavish. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Louis Schoepp, as well as her parents Carl and Anna Langer. Del was an amazing lady who always looked impeccable and she will forever remain in our hearts. A Memorial Service will be held in Winnipeg, MB at a later date.
