CAROL LYNN BAIN Suddenly while on holidays, Wednesday, July 24, 2013 Carol passed away. She leaves us to join her daughter Irene (June 25, 2011). Carol leaves to mourn her husband, Keith Johnson, son, Doug Panchuk (Maria), brother, Doug Bain (Shannon) and son-in-law, Danny Atwood. She will be lovingly remembered by her grandchildren, Tyrell, Ryan and Justine as well as her great-granddaughter, Shelby. Her family and friends always held a special place in her heart and was to many a person to talk, cry and laugh with. A homemaker the later years of her life, she was to many, a confidante and close friend. The family wishes to thank Thomson Funeral Home for their dedication to professionalism and compassion. A private family gathering has been held. In lieu of cards and flowers the family asks that donations be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.

  • It was with heavy heart that I had to say my final farewell to my very best friend. For over 40 years we shared many ups and downs much laughter and tears. Such a wonderful person she was always so considerate and caring not only to people she knew but strangers alike. A certain memory comes to mind, while working as a security guard and putting in a nite shift of 10 hours she came upon a homeless person asleep in a bus shelter, without a second thought she stopped took out a blanket from her car and went and covered him up.
