John was also very good to me when he was my probation officer as another misguided youth. He believed in me when most others wrote me off, and gave me values to enter adulthood which I still practice today. I believe he worked with me 42 years ago. RIP! - Posted by: Rick Turriff () on: Dec 20, 2014

John and I became friends when he attended the Adult Day Program I run across from the Concordia Hospital. He was such a kind and gentle man. In this past year I had a brief time to catch up to him and had some good visits... so glad he is finally free. Rest in peace John. Jan - Posted by: Jan Severloh (Friend) on: Jan 03, 2014

Donna, I knew you in Swan River. John was a gentle soul and a great part of our office. We enjoyed sparring with each other about our heritage, his Scottish and mine Irish, all in fun of course. Every morning about 10:00 a.m. he would come out of his office and tell me that he was going for and "egg". Of course, that being his coffee break. - Posted by: Noreen Ryan (Worked with John at 675 Archibald) on: Aug 23, 2013
