Condolences & Memories (3 entries)

  • So sorry to hear of your mother's passing. I always remember the fun days we had when she worked at Macleods in the payroll department with Freda, Ruth, Tom and myself. She also brightened the day with her humor & her beautiful smile. She always spoke very highly of you Carol. My sincere sypathies to you and your family during this very difficult time. • I was very saddened to learn that your mother has passed away. My sincere condolences. I noted from the obituary that you now have a new partner. I think that is wonderful. Congratulations. Life can be pretty rough at times and a good partner can make a big difference. I lost my partner of 56 years 3 years ago, and I am now living in a retirement home. I have spent quite a bit of time remembering past happy times - such as the Stewart family picnics, holiday dinners, visits to various grain elevators with my kids, your wedding in Carman (was it 1966?) etc. Carol, if you have a spare moment, please give me a call. I would love to have a chat. - Posted by: Jim Hicks (Second cousin) on: Aug 07, 2013
