Dave: I was so sorry to see this obituary too late to attend your mom's funeral and reconnect with you after all these years. I only met your mom once when you invited me to come to your house on Sydney Ave. when we were both taking Business Administration at RRC in the early 70's. I remember how kind she was to me and how much she loved you. I know any friend of yours was a friend of your mom. I felt that. I lost both my parents in 1995 and losing mom was especially tough. Don't know if you are still in Toronto as I lost touch after graduating? Would love to reconnect with you and find out what's happened over the years. If you, by chance see this, please e-mail me: ftnewbery@hotmail.com Again, my sincerest condolences on your loss. Thanks Dave, Your college buddy, Fred. - Posted by: Fred Newbery (Red River College friend of Son, David) on: Aug 12, 2013

Our deepest sympathy to Eva's family. Verla and Eva were room mates for a short time but enjoyed each others company filled with many stories and lots of laughter. She will be missed by all, she was a sweet soul. - Posted by: kotowski family (friends) on: Aug 09, 2013

Mrs. Sudyn always sent great baking and my favourite peroghies home with her son Larry and Pat, but she never forgot their neighbors next door. We will miss those care packages. We all have quilts that she lovingly made to cozy up with on cold winter nights. She was a very talented woman and will be sadly missed. Say hi to Larry up there for us! We miss him too! - Posted by: Lorena (Friend of Larry and Pat) on: Aug 07, 2013

Once when visiting Mrs. Sudyn when company was visiting from Australia, Al and I will never forget driving up to the house and the delicious aromas coming from Mrs. Sudyn's house. She made an absolute hit with Al when she presented him with HOMEMADE donuts - he was in heaven and I am sure that is where she is as well. - Posted by: Judy & Al Grassing (Friends of David) on: Aug 07, 2013
