Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryRAYMOND LEGAULT It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Raymond Legault on August 5, 2013 at the Grace Hospital. Ray was an amazing husband, father, brother, uncle, grandfather and friend to all. Ray's true joy was his grandchildren. He was either driving to watch their sports or finding someone to brag to about their accomplishments. He was everyone's handyman and would never say no to anyone needing help. Ray was an active member of the Anavets Assiniboia Unit 283 and a longstanding member with the Knights of Columbus. Ray will be forever remembered by his wife of 47 years, Joan, daughter Raeleen Timlick (Doug), daughter Leanne, grandchildren Alyssa, Tori and Jayden, brothers Orval (Lorraine), and Florent (Debbie), sisters Jeannette Shirtliffe (Ladd), Elaine Harder (Larry), and many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. Ray is predeceased by his mother and father Oscar and Florence, and his brother Arcel. Special thanks to the EMS and staff at the Grace Hospital Emergency and ICU. We will not forget your kindness and compassion. Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, August 8 at 1:00 p.m. at the Blessed John The XXIII, 3390 Portage Avenue. Reception to follow at the Anavets Assiniboia Unit 283, 3584 Portage Avenue. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation in Ray's memory. Decency, generosity, compassion...these thoughts of Ray the man come to mind. He was a good man. The world is a lesser place without you. You will be missed. First and foremost our sincere condolences to the family, you have lost a gem of a human being as we all have with the loss of Ray. There is not many people that have crossed my path and had an influence the way Ray has. Despite the many challenges that were going on in Ray's life he was never able to say no to someone that was in need, yet he never asked or did he expect something in return. His generosity and his humbleness is a testament to the man he was. We already miss you so much Ray, you have more than earned your rest.
