I am so sorry to hear of Tom's passing and wish I had been able to be at his memorial service. Tom and I worked together, went for walks and lunch together and had many wonderful conversations. Tom cared about everyone, was passionate in any adventure that he took on, and always had a sense of humour. He was my friend; the world will be a lesser place without him. - Posted by: Mary Freeman (Former BC Government colleague and friend.) on: Mar 09, 2014

Met Tom IN basic training in cornwallis Nova Scotia, we both went to Naden in Esquimalt B.C. for radioman training. Tom was my roommate at naden. He was a great guy and I really looked up to him. Great Basketball player we played together on the Cornwallis base team. Last saw Tom when I retired from Navy in 1960 and just found him again on Facebook Oct 2013. It was with great sadness that I learned he passed before I could reconnect after all these years. Pepsi and I hitchited from Esquimalt to Calgary Alberta, Tom going to Winnipeg me to Edmonton. My condolences to his family. He was a great guy - Posted by: Gary Sager (Friend) on: Nov 07, 2013
