Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryEUNICE CRANSTON October 2, 1923 August 3, 2013 Eunice Cranston passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 3, 2013, beloved wife of Clifford Cranston, mother of Don (Nancy), Ken (Diane) and Cathy (John), grandmother of Jennifer (Sue), Trevor (Angela), Blair (Alexis), Meghan (Jamie), Leah (Michael), Charlie and great-grandmother of Everett and Henry. Eunice was born and raised in Ninette, Manitoba, and was predeceased by her parents, John and Elizabeth Pattullo, and her brothers and sisters, May, Nan, Jim, Pat, Bessie, Eddie, Marg and David. Mom was a committed and loving wife and mother. She was active in many community causes and developed many lasting friendships living in the Riverview area for 38 years. Mom particularly enjoyed the family's time in Italy, the years spent at the family cottage at Barren Lake and many winters in Arizona. Mom had a special love and talent for painting and knitting, especially for her children and grandchildren. Her baking, especially shortbread and vinatarta, was always a hit! A memorial service will be held on Monday, August 12, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue with a Reception to follow. The family wishes to extend a special thank-you to the staff at Golden Links Lodge for the care and compassion that they extended to our wife and mother. We send sincere sympathy to the whole family at the loss of your parents. I was so sorry not to be able to attend Auntie Eunie's memorial service, but was thinking of you all.
