JUDY RUTH HOBSON (LOCKLEY, BONDI) April 3, 1947 - March 31, 2013 In the late afternoon of Easter Sunday, March 31, 2013 Judy passed away quietly at home three days short of her 66th birthday. After a nine year fight with Leukemia Myeloid, lung cancer was diagnosed in November 2012. Its severity was not fully realized until February 2013 and it quickly overwhelmed her fight to live, but not before having special time with each of her children, and a few of her grandchildren. Judy leaves behind her children: Carla, Brad, Deby and Nancy; grandchildren: Mathew, Thomas, Tabatha, Shadoe, Ayla, Farah, and one great-grandchild Lyla. Judy's brothers David, and Randy are also left in mourning, along with her nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, Arthur and Lillian, sister and brother-in-law, Diane and Donald; as well as husband Peter, and common-law spouse Raymond. Judy is sadly missed by all who knew her. A Memorial Service will be held at the Woodlawn Memorial Park, 762 Woolwich Street, Guelph, Ontario on Wednesday, September 4, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel. Those gathering to pay respect can walk from the chapel to the Hobson grave location in block M2 at 3:00 p.m.
