Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryLYNNORE PHYLLIS JONES November 23, 1954 - August 1, 2013 It is with heaviest of hearts that we announce that Lynnore Jones, beloved daughter, sister, aunt and very dear friend, has passed away after a brief illness with cancer. She leaves behind her mother Bernice Hiebert of Winnipeg, sisters Carol Jones (Sheila), Anne Bakuska (Doug, Kyle, Lauren), brothers Neil Hiebert (Korine, Hunter, Madison) and Blair Edgar (Elaine, Brittany, Danielle), stepmother, Pat Jones, sisters Dr. Andria Jones and Wendy Jones, her dear friend, John Papanaoum, an overwhelming community of loving friends and her four-legged family, Magic and Makko. Lynnore was raised in the heart of Winnipeg, the West End, with grandparents, Amy and Bill Johnson, and sister Carol (Jones). She made life-long friends with Ingrid Friesen and Bruce Hanson, as they remain today. Upon graduating from high school, she pursued Interior Design through the University of Manitoba. She moved to Montreal to pursue her career and eventually moved to Toronto where she remained for 29 years. Lynnore touched the lives of all whom she came in contact giving friendship and unending kindnesses. She was loving and caring and quickly became a friend, a confidant, a mentor and a joy to be with. Compassion to all was the tenet she lived by. She was self-motivated, determined, articulate and a consummate professional. She was active in her profession as a member of the Association of Registered Interior Designers of Ontario, ARIDO. Lynnore's family and friends would like to thank the care team of The Toronto East General Hospital, 2nd floor, for their efforts to create and maintain an exceptional quality of life for Lynn, and all their patients. A memorial service will be held in Toronto, at St. Luke Anglican church, 904 Coxwell Avenue on Monday, August 12 at 11:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to your local CancerCare or to a charity of one's choice. You were a special gift to us all and we will miss you dearly. Until we meet again.

Very sad to read this today. Much too young. We went to the same schools and I hadn't seen Lynnore since our early days at U of M. Such a lovely person. My condolences to her family and friends. Tom Harrison - Posted by: Tom Harrison () on: Aug 10, 2013
