BETTY SUTYLA (SCOTTON) May 27, 1927 - August 3, 2013 Surrounded by her loving family, mom left us to be with our dad, who she missed very much. Mom was born in Moosejaw, SK, was raised in Howardville and on August 14, 1945 she married Tony Sutyla. They moved to the family homestead in Ledwyn, where she stayed until moving into the Sunrise Lodge in Arborg two years ago. Left to cherish moms memory are her children and their spouses; Brian (Linda), Bill (Marcie), Maureen (Dick Johnson), Susie (Brian Eyolfson), Al (Jodi), and her treasured grandchildren; Ray (Julie), Roland, Rene (Darlene), Jason (Amber), Stacie, Derek (Krista), Jenny (Ray), Mitch (Amanda), Christopher (Aubrey), Jackie (Tim), Christine (Keith), Sandra, Alex; and her great-grandchildren; Kendall, Kellie, Nick, Ashley, Steven, Todd, Tommy, Blake, Ella, MacKenzie, Raymond, Stefan, Kristjan, Siggi, Brynlee, Teagan, Chayse and Kathryn. Mom is also survived by brother-in-law Stanley (Pearl), sister-in-law Jean Sutyla, and brother-in-law Art Waighorn. Mom was predeceased by her husband Tony, infant daughter, Jeannie;, her parents, Alfred and Clara Scotton;, sister Vera Andruschak, and infant brother Albert Scotton. Mom always kept busy with crafts, especially when creating something special for her family. Mom worked hard trying to get the craft program back into the lodge as she felt busy hands kept a healthy mind. Her days were filled with volunteering at the Thrift Shop, which she enjoyed very much We'd especially like to thank Dr. Donnelly for his extra special care and concern for mom. At moms request, there will be no formal service. The family will have a private family interment at a later date.
