OLGA BUGERA (MAKOWSKY) After a courageous battle and surrounded with love, mom passed away peacefully on August 8. Left to cherish her memory is her son Robert, daughter Audrey and son-in-law Paul Nicolas, grandchildren Dustin, Brittany and Bryana Nicolas, Amie and Brad Bugera. She was predeceased by her husband John in 1988 and is survived by her mother Kay Makowsky, brother Orest, sister Stella, her special baby sister Nancy, sisters-in-law, Mary, Jean, Marie, Elsie and Sylvia. Brothers-in-law Johnny, Walter and Ed. Other special friends in her life where her cousin Marj, neighbour Elaine and friend Bruno. She was a long time member of the Ukrainian Catholic Women's League of Sts. Peter and Paul and made many life time friends there. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Ovarian Cancer Walk at and go to Audrey's page or to a charity of your choice. Anyone who knew her, knew how much she loved her family and friends and loved to dance. We know she is now enjoying a good polka. Funeral Service will be held on Monday, August 12, 2013 9:00 a.m. at St. Peter and Paul Ukrainian Catholic Church, 390 Marion Street, Winnipeg. Interment to follow in Sundown, Manitoba.
