• I was quite young when I met Bobby,LoL he was fantastic! And we always got along, I have a fond memory that Bobby remembered my name after the very first time we met LoL! My very best friend Cheryl his sister introduced me to her brother Bobby and I will always remember that day LoL Yikes I thought Omg! He was just a busy guy and kind, spose ultimately I will see him again sometime, I was 17 and am now46 so probably sooner than later yay! • Sad to hear of Bobby's passing. Condolences to Margaret (Mom), Ricky, Mooch, Pup and family. I've known Bobby a long time, back in the day, I was part of the family. One story that always breaks me up about Steamer was the furniture cart. Bobby was working for the Gov. in Headingley and he got hold of this floor cart. He would sit on this cart, tuck and cover his legs under himself and use his hands to propell himself around the room. When the new guys came in.....Steamer would glide up to these guys and hit them up for smokes and whatever because they figured Bobby had no legs. Then when the guards would catch Bobby in the act, they would say "OK Steamer put the cart away" The look on their faces was priceless as Bobby stood up. No one ever messed with Bobby, he had a lot of big brothers. He gave us a lot of laughs, every time he ran into me, he would say "How's the big guns Bear?" Going to miss you Bro! • First time I met Bobby, wasn't sure what to make of him. thru the years our paths would cross often and I got to know him well. He walked his road in life his way. sometimes lost but he always had a smile for you, or a joke, maybe a funny noise. Bobby was easy going, kind and caring. I will always remember Bobby with that Grin/Smile on his face that made you wonder what he was up to. • I first met Bob (Steamer) as a patient at the Concordia Hospital in 2012 and instantly enjoyed his sense of humor and friendly disposition. I'd often bring my guitar to his room and play some of his favorite tunes. We'd sit and talk about life and of the good times as well as difficult times we all experience at various times.
