Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryROBERT GEORGE BILLECK October 7, 1945 - August 8, 2013 It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Bob Billeck on Thursday, August 8. He is survived by brothers Wayne (Shirley), Brian (Arlene). He will also be missed by nephews Scott (Krista), Jeff (Jennifer, Lauren and Tyler) and niece Jennifer (Ruben). Bob was predeceased by parents Paul and Rose. As a certified management accountant Bob's career included work across Canada with CP Rail, White Pass and Yukon, then 17 years as office manager and credit controller with H.Y. Louie in Vancouver. He loved to golf and travel and treasured his time spent with dear friend Shirley Klyne. Upon retirement he returned to Winnipeg to be with family. Cremation has taken place and private interment will follow. "Perhaps they are not stars in the sky, but rather openings where our loved ones shine down to let us know they are happy".

Bob and I cut our teeth together growing up in Fort Rouge and Earl Grey school. A real gentleman in spite of the crew he hung with. Nice cars and clothes always and a tough football player for Tech Voc. He still had one of Neil Young's guitars in a closet. I miss him greatly here in 2016.
