Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryLUCIEN ACHILLE JOSEPHAT LAMBERT (BIG LOU) It is with great sadness that the family announces the peaceful passing of Lucien Achille Joséphat Lambert at 91 years of age on August 15, 2013 at Action Marguerite (Taché), with his family by his side. Lucien was predeceased by his wife of 55 years Thérèse (née Trudeau); his parents Emma (née Ste Marie) and Joseph; and numerous brothers, sisters, in-laws, and friends. Lucien will be remembered with heartfelt love and sadly missed by his children Robert (Jacqueline), David (Odile), Monique (Bob), René, and Marie (Guy); his grandchildren Florence (Marc), Danielle (Denis), Donald (Mary), Pierre (Jenn), Patrick (Mira), Jean-Marc, Alain, Danielle (Stephen), Matthew (Jessica), and Justin; his great-grandchildren Mireille, Christiane, Pierre, Alyssa, Brett, Noah, Matthew, Morgan, Gavin, Jack, Aiden, Liam, Hannah, Vanessa and Maximus. He will also be missed by his sister Marie, and brothers Albert (Fabiola), and Armand (Marguerite). He will lovingly be remembered by his wife of 13 years Irène (Gauthier) and her children Yvonne , Maurice and Gisèle, Janet and Fred (Bauer), Normand and Sheila; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. Lucien was born in St. Malo on March 1, 1922 and married Thérèse on February 5, 1944. He served in the Army, was a painter, and was a stationery engineer for Shea's and Labatt's. He enjoyed being a leader in the Boy Scouts, a Chevalier de Colomb, and was actively involved in Game and Fish. Lucien enjoyed spending time in St. Malo and being with his family. He loved being around people...the more the merrier!! Dad loved making popcorn we ate while enjoying our many campfires. He loved our horseshoe tournaments with friends and family. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 20, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at Desjardins Funeral Chapel, 357 Des Meurons Street. The family wishes to thank the staff at Charleswood Care Centre, as well as Diane, Lynn, Marilyn, Tessa, Maria, and many others of the 3rd and 5th floor of Action Marguerite (Taché).
