EDWARD JOHN WLOCK Peacefully, on June 27, 2013 at the Vista Park Lodge, Eddy Wlock, passed away just hours after his 80th birthday. Eddy was predeceased by his parents Mary and John Wlock, brother Raymond Wlock and sister-in-law Violet Wlock. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 55 years Pat (nee Devlin), their daughters, Shirley Wlock, Pamela Wlock, Jennifer (David) Wolanski, grand-children: Kyle (Rielle Smith) and Aled Barry, Rio, and Chloe Fletcher, Daiya, Taryn, Riley, Carys, Peyton Wolanski, great-granddaughter Izabelle Barry, brother Vincent sister-in-law Eunice Wlock, sister Idell (Fred) Pacholka, brother Ted (Sonya) Wlock and their extended families and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Eddy was born June 26, 1933 on the family farm near Fernwood, SK. He moved to Winnipeg in 1951 and was employed with Moore Business Forms for 21 years. He then established several of his own printing establishments with the final one being Eddy's Printing and Stationary Ltd. where he became better known as Fast Eddy. He retired in the spring of 2000. Eddy's love of classic cars took him on many road trips and conventions around Canada and the U.S.A. in his beloved 1956 glass top Crown Victoria. Eddy was a 25 year member of the Crown Victoria Association and one of the founding members of the 1956 Fabulous Ford Club of Manitoba. Eddy spent his retirement years working on old cars and his collection of pocket knives. He also loved to fish and took many fishing trips around the province and up North. Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Eddy's life will be held Saturday, August 24, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. Interment will follow at Glen Lawn Memorial Gardens In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Eddy to the charity of one's choice.   • So sorry for your loss, Pat and family. I remember you from the fun get togethers with John and Ken Macdonald who also worked at Moore's. My husband Norm passed away in Jan. 1996 and I have remarried 6 years ago and live with my new husband, Paul Gagnon in Coldstream, BC.   • Hope there is a ton of nice cars in heaven Fast! I can just see u cruising the streets paved w/gold. You are a fine man Fast.....I will always cherish the many good moments that we shared. Especially in Regina where I told those two business men the CKDM joke.....you loved that so much! Go rest high on that Mountain. You touched the hearts of so many.
