SHIRLEY STEVENSON (nee GLENN) July 25, 1935 - August 16, 2013 Peacefully, on August 16, 2013, at home at Beacon Hill Lodge, Winnipeg, Shirley passed on. She will be missed and lovingly remembered by family and friends. Shirley was born and raised in Strathclair, MB. She had seven children and in-between times managed several different part-time employment positions. In earlier years, she enjoyed fishing, camping and the great outdoors. Bingo was always a passion. Shirley was predeceased by her mother and father, Maria and Ed Glenn, sister Verna, son Vincent, and brothers Roy and Maurice. Mom will be remembered by many friends and family: sons James, Gerry and Darcy (Debby); daughters Jacquie, Charlene and Denise (Lars); grandchildren Jeff, James, Shelby and John; sisters-in-law Winnie and Alice Glenn; and numerous nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank all the staff at Beacon Hill, especially the 8th floor and Recreation staff for her care and their caring. Mom had an endearing personality and always a smile for everyone. Memories live on forever. We love you, Mom. A quiet family service will take place at a later date in Strathclair, MB, per her wishes.
