Just heard the sad news of Chuck's passing. Many memories of Chuck at Coronation Lanes and at Grand Marais...He and Trudy are great neighbours. Heartfelt sympathy goes out to the entire family. The beach won't be quite the same now... - Posted by: Terry Willerton (Neightbor and friend) on: Aug 24, 2013

I remember Charlie from our Tribune Chiefs hockey team from the mid 60's . He was a great player and a great guy and I wish the family all the best during this time of sorrow. Rest in peace old friend. - Posted by: Ken Dopson (Friend ) on: Aug 20, 2013

Deepest condolences to the Sabo family. I remember Chuck as a very proud competitive family man. Chuck could throw a good shoe and count the points in crib at all the Grand Marais tournaments always aa A player. But most of all I can still hear him saying in a loud voice NO LOFTING at the Transcona bowling alley. Chuck was a lot of fun and will be greatly missed. ciao - Posted by: Phil Paulicelli and family (Freind) on: Aug 20, 2013

Karen told me on Sunday of Chuck's passing. I have so many fond memories of Chuck. Trudy you and Chuck were the first family I met when Karen and I passed through Winnipeg in 81. You were both so warm and welcoming then and opened your home at the beach to us. Over the years and many visits to Winnipeg there were many great times. When I think of Winnipeg I can't help but think of both of you. Chuck will be missed. My condolences to you and Jack, Randy, Charlene and your families and all of your friends.
